What is Antioch?
The Acts of the Apostles report, “It was at Antioch that the believers were first called Christians.” During the early church times, the community at Antioch was recognized as a particularly faithful, vibrant, loving, prayerful people of God.
Are we known as a Christian people at school, at home or in our neighborhood? Do we allow our faith in God to affect the way we are and act? Are we more loving, faithful, caring, honest and joyful because of our faith?
We are challenged as young people of the Church to accept the Love of God.
What is AntiochTeam.com?
A method of communication between the meetings. A great place to spend time growing in faith and fellowship and friendship. Getting to know each other better and many others of the Catholic faith.
About Antioch Retreats
As a community that strives to deepen its Catholic faith, Antioch works to glorify God by bringing His Word to others through support, service, and example to fulfill our call to love.
As members of Antioch, we will accomplish our mission by:
1. Opening our hearts to the Holy Spirit.
2. Frequently observing the sacraments of Eucharist and Reconciliation.
3. Daily Prayer (Ex. Spiritual reading, contemplative prayer, rosary, meditation).
4. Serving others.
5. Being welcoming to everyone.

What is the weekend like?
It is a dynamic weekend, full of sharing, Discussions, music, food, fun, projects, and more. The weekend is given entirely by experienced young adults with the help of a few adult spiritual directors.
This faith experience is a great way for one to prepare for the sacrament of Confirmation, or strengthen the commitment you have previously made. This retreat is a wonderful opportunity for your questions to be addressed concerning the Catholic faith.
You will be glad you came.
Who can go?
This weekend is open to all students Grade nine through college.
All faiths are welcome to experience God’s love that is shared during this weekend. An open mind and an open heart is all that is required to make it a meaningful experience for you.
Every Thursday, from 6-6:30pm, we’ll bring you Antioch Live. It’s our new live video show that will act as an extension of the meetings as well as take us behind the scenes of Antioch from time to time.
We’re hoping to bring people on the show that have been part of Antioch from the start, as well as others that have had their lives changed by Antioch. We invite anyone from any Antioch group to contact us about being involved in this endeavor.
All of the videos will be archived on: http://www.youtube.com/youthgrouplive
